Alpaca Lane Criations began as a heartfelt retirement dream and quickly blossomed into a thriving, family-run experience farm in the heart of Maryland. Nestled in the tranquil countryside of Upper Marlboro, our farm was founded by Susan Kolb, whose lifelong love of animals and nature inspired her to create a place where families could unplug, unwind, and reconnect through unforgettable interactions with alpacas.
What started with just a few curious alpacas has grown into a full-scale destination — complete with a petting zoo, guided tours, seasonal events, and a boutique filled with cozy, hand-crafted alpaca goods. Every inch of the farm reflects our passion for animal care, community, and bringing a little extra joy to people's lives.
